Voting Information:
Polling Location:
All Town of Washington residents vote at the Town of Washington Municipal Building, 5750 Old Town Hall Road.
Registration:
All voters in the Town of Washington need to be registered to vote. There are three options to register:
· BY MAIL
Download the Application for Voter Registration (EB131) at http://elections.state.wi.us/faq_detail.asp?faqid=245&locid=47, complete the form and mail it to the Town of Washington office up to 4:30 PM on the 13th day before the election.
· IN PERSON
Register at the Town of Washington office up to 4:30 PM on the day before the election. You must bring proof that you have lived at your present location for 10 days preceding the election.
· AT THE POLLING PLACE ON ELECTION DAY
Requirements to Vote
-You must be a U.S. citizen
-You must be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day
-You must have resided in your election district for at least 10 days
-You must not have lost your right to vote
Absentee Ballot Information
Absentee ballots are typically available three weeks prior to Election Day. You can cast an absentee ballot in person up until 5pm on the day before the election

Military & Overseas Voting
Military electors are not required to register to vote. Military electors do not need to provide proof of residence.
Overseas electors must register to vote. Proof of residence is not required for Overseas electors living overseas indefinitely. Registration must be postmarked no later than 20 days before an election. If you are temporary away overseas, with the intent to return, than you are not considered an overseas elector.
***The FPCA Federal Post Card Application or the EB-131 (above) can be used to request an absentee ballot. Please use the Federal Voting Assistance Program http://www.fvap.gov to guide you to the FPCA application and answer any of your questions.

If you are interested in becoming a Election Inspector, please complete the Application for Pollworker Appointment and mail it to the Town of Washington.
